  23. In addition to the herbal methods alluded to by others, there are some
  24. gruesome methods of abortion, including getting someone to jump on your
  25. lower abdomen. I also read an unpleasant but informative description by
  26. a woman on how she gave herself an abortion. It involved sharpening a hook
  27. (crochet hook?) and scraping the uterine wall.

  29. Ugly, but it works. I can see other reasons why the hold girls might not
  30. want to abort besides the morality...
