  28. But you do seem quite ignorant about sex.  Maybe you should
  29. ask your parents to sit down with you & talk about birth control.
  30. You know, contraception.  Ways to prevent pregnancy.  (You
  31. learn something new every day, don't you!)  Some methods are
  32. 98% effective, when used properly or in conjunction with a 
  33. second method.  Pregnancy is unlikely to happen to couples
  34. using birth control.

  36. Here's another fun new fact for you to think about.  (Now, your 
  37. parents are probably too shy to talk to you about this, but
  38. you can find it explained in books in your local library.
  39. If they don't let kids take these books out, you can read them 
  40. in the stacks.)  Ready?

  42. There are some sexual activities which <gasp> don't involve 
  43. penile penetration of the vagina.  In your talk with your 
  44. parents, you'll have learned that it takes sperm to fertilize 
  45. an ovum.  Without penetration, there's almost no chance 
  46. that a sperm will get that far-- and hence no possibility of 
  47. conception!  So pregnancy is unlikely to happen to couples 
  48. who enjoy oral sex, anal sex, or mutual masturbation instead 
  49. of intercourse.

  51. So now you've learned something about sex.  Maybe you should
  52. think about your statement above in the light of all this new
  53. information.  Maybe you should rephrase, and say something like,
  54. "If you can't live with [pregnancy], don't have intercourse
  55. without using birth control.  period."

  58. is probably another new concept for you.
