  17.                HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BLAZING TATTLES!

  19.      In July of last year, the first issue of Blazing Tattles was
  20. published, featuring a long essay on the media overage of the Gulf
  21. War and the governmental cover up of data.  The next issue was
  22. published in September, after which BT has put out monthly issues
  23. and one special edition for the World Women's Congress for a
  24. Healthy Planet, when it met in Miami, Florida.  When the fires were
  25. officially extinguished, we decided to continue publishing until
  26. the whole oilfire story is told and the environmental consequences
  27. are well understood -- or until we go broke.
  28.      Much to the surprise of the publisher, BT has developed a
  29. following and a "name" though the distribution in hard copy is very
  30. limited.
  31.      The publisher is still traveling around North America, and
  32. expects to "land" around the first of October, at which time she
  33. will evaluate the future of BT.  Should it expand and cover other
  34. topics?  Become a full length book?  Become a commercial
  35. enterprise?  Any constructive input from readers is welcome.  In
  36. the meantime, we conclude the first volume with Issue 12.
