- I have a question. After about 15-20 minutes of aerobic
- exercise, the body starts to metabolize fat at an accelerated rate.
- That is, it tends to consume fat for energy more than it consumes
- carbohydrates or proteins. According to my most recent info, this
- accelerated fat metabolism lasts for at least an hour after working out,
- and perhaps up to 4-5 hours.
-
- Does anyone have some more specific info? That is, does anyone
- have a better idea of how long fat metabolism will last after walking,
- running, etc? I'd like to know, because I'd like to keep my fat
- burning throughout a large part of the day.
