- Does anyone have information on how the Trans America Footrace is going?
- I haven't heard anything in a long time, and of course our local paper
- only covers football, basketball, and baseball. They should be entering
- good ol' Kansas today and pass within about 60 miles of my home this Sunday.
- Fortunately, the high today is only going to be about 80 with low humidity.
- We are considering driving up to cheer them on. Does anyone know how the
- race operates? Do they run their designated stage, then drive to the
- town where they will stay overnight, or are they literally running every
- step of the way? Do they all start at the same time each morning? What
- sort of pace are the leaders running at? Are there any women among the
- 25 entrants? Enough questions ....
