  13. My Toxnet Brief Guide to Searching indicates that "HSDB is a factual
  14. databank focusing upon the toxicology of over 4300 potentially hazardous
  15. chemicals.  In addition to toxicity data, it carries information in such
  16. areas as emergencymedical treatment, safety and handling, environmental
  17. fate, exposure potential,and regulatory requirements."

  19. I've got to add that this has to be one of the most value-packed databases
  20. that NLM has.  It is peer-reviewed, has manufacturing and use information,
  21. and when the chemical that you're looking for is in the database, there's
  22. usually a gold mine of information.
