- I recently took my '91Toyota truck to a place in Mountain View which deals
- only in certain imports (Japanese I think). The truck was overdue so they
- recommended the 30k 'special'. I know next to nothing about cars/trucks but
- I think it was pretty good service. There was a whole list of things including
- flush the radiator, coolant system, and transmission, change the oil/filter,
- plugs, rotate tires, align front end... that's all I can recall at this time.
- The total cost (told up front, including price and labor, less tax) was $279.
- What impressed me was the next day I noticed a few extras... they had replaced
- the nuts and bolts on the liscence plates (I'd lost one up fron and one on the
- back), refilled the water for the windshield, and replaced some missing tire
- caps, no extra charge. It seems to me that is they do all those little things
- there's a good chance that the rest of the work was well done.
- (a.k.a. attention to detail?) Anyways, the name of the place is Yarnell's
- on the corner of Evelyn and Pioneer in Mountain View.
-
- Good Luck... TKJ

- I have taken my nissan 300zx to Yarnell's and I would recommend them, I also
- had a major service (30,000 miles). They even offered to give me a ride to
- my work. I also was recommended to Yarnell's. I believe I also paid about
- $279.00 but this was about 2 years ago and it's time to go again.
-
- good luck jlo
