  12. ProTracker  ST  v2.0s is a music program written for the  Atari  ST/TT 
  13. series.  It is based on the infamous tracker concept, first introduced 
  14. by Karsten Obarski in 1986.  It is a highly flexible system,  allowing 
  15. for up to four separate channels of samples,  digital reproductions of 
  16. real instruments,  each with separate volume and pitch.  ProTracker ST 
  17. turns your ST into a fully capable sample synthesizer!

  19. -- Requirements ------------------------------------------------------

  21. ProTracker runs on any Atari ST(E)/TT computer.  It will not run quite 
  22. perfectly on a Falcon, yet, but as soon as we get our hands on one, we 
  23. will fix that. ProTracker *does*, however, require a colour monitor.

  27. Beginners  will  want  to  read  the  documentation  that  comes  with 
  28. ProTracker to get a grip on the basics of using and making music  with 
  29. ProTracker.  The documentation includes the first two chapters of  the 
  30. full documentation of ProTracker. The full documentation of ProTracker 
  31. is a full 130 kilobytes,  and covers all aspects of ProTracker ST in 9 
  32. chapters and appendices.

  36. ProTracker  ST  is shareware.  If you use  this  program,  you  should 
  37. register.  Registering will cost you a measly 8 pounds, and will bring 
  38. you the full version of ProTracker ST, a more than 50 page manual, and 
  39. sources to replay songs created with ProTracker in your own programs.

  41. Unless  you  have  an entire family to feed,  your  visa  account  has 
  42. mysteriosly  been  overdrawn 10,000 pounds and your  grandmother  just 
  43. broke a leg,  we expect you to register. We have put a *lot* of effort 
  44. into  this  program,  and  hope  you all will  show  your  support  by 
  45. registering.  Less able programs are selling for rediculous 50  pounds 
  46. in the commercial market. Show your support for shareware authors!

  90. of ProTracker as soon as humanly possible.
