  1. Welcome to WinModem V 1.00

  3. To install WinModem, you must first be running either Windows 3.0 or
  4. Windows 3.1.
  5.  
  6. We recommend that you copy all of the files you received to a floppy
  7. disk. This provides you with an automatic backup of the WinModem
  8. package. Then, from the Windows Program Manager, simply Run A:SETUP.

  10. If you copied the files to a subdirectory on your hard disk, then Run
  11. C:\subdir\SETUP, where subdir is the name of the subdirectory that
  12. contains the distribution files. However, if you are going to install
  13. WinModem in this fashion, please do not attempt to install the
  14. application in the same directory as the original files.

  16. By default, Setup will install the WinModem application in a directory
  17. called WinModem. You may change the directory name during the
  18. installation process.
