  5. The Decode Shell Extension v2.31 adds a Decode menu item to your Windows 95 or 
  6. NT 4.0 Explorer context menu (right mouse button menu) and File menu.  It is visible
  7. only when exactly one file(not folder) is selected.
  8.  
  9. Decompress the ZIP file to a temporary directory, run the SETUP.EXE, then delete
  10. the temporary files (setup will not delete them).  If you are updating an older version, 
  11. you must close all instances of the Explorer and use Start/Run/Browse to execute 
  12. the setup program since the Explorer will load the old version. For more information,

  15. The extension will then analyze the file and if it detects a UUENCODED,
  16. BinHex, XXE, user table or Base64(MIME) encoded file, it will prompt you if you 
  17. want to decode it (and tell you the file name).  To change the file name or where it is 
  18. saved, select No.  If a file name is missing, the extension will use a default name.

  26. The newest enhancements include better detection of encoding format, stripping
  27. of paths from the file name (if found) and handling of multi-part attachments
  28.  (previously concatenated) and multiple attachments in one file.  MIME(Base64)
  29. encoded files will now be decoded even if no file name can be detected.

  34. search(grep) and replace utility for Windows 95/NT(SR32.EXE) and 3.1x
  35. (SR.EXE), supports regular expressions, binary characters for search and 
  36. replace, searches through multiple files/subdir.for a phrase and can replace
  37.  it with another. Results are shown color coded, many options(backup, 
  38. logging, scripts, viewer). Search Results can be viewed in context (several 
  39. lines before and after), files can be opened with assoc viewers.  ZIP files are
  40. now automatically Searched.

  42. Directory Toolkit for Windows 95/NT 4.x (shareware) - It allows files in two 
  43. directories to be compared and synchronized, provides renames, copy, move 
  44. and delete of multiple files using wildcards while preserving long file 
  45. names (the DOS commands don't) and also allows changing file names' case 
  46. using wildcards, decoding/encoding of (UUENCODED, Base64, XXENCODED, 
  47. BinHex) files, splitting/concatenating of file to/from diskettes, Explorer compatible 
  48. OLE drag and Drop, Sort Directories, opening files and launching applications.  
  49. Any two files can be compared and a report is displayed.
