  3. Installation of DBGRAPH

  6.   - Unzip dbGrph20.ZIP in a temporary directory
  7.   - Run SETUP.EXE
  8.   - Choose "English" as language
  9.   - Choose "Install dbGraph" and obey the instructions
  10.   - Delete the files in the temporary directory
  11.  
  12. Deinstallation of dbGraph

  15.   IT IS NOT ENOUGH JUST TO DELETE THE FILES IN THE DBGRAF-DIRECTORY
  16.   The installation routine changes the system profile OS2.INI. To
  17.   undo the changes, operate like this:
  18.  
  19.   - Run SETUP.EXE
  20.   - Choose "English" as language
  21.   - Choose "Delete existing version" and obey the instructions.
  22.   Setup.EXE cleans up the INI files and deletes all dbGraph files
  23.   - After successful uninstallation you may delete SETUP.EXE
  24.  
  25. If SETUP.EXE is damaged you have to
  26.  
  27.   a) try to get the ZIPfile dbGrph20.ZIP again, unzip it and copy SETUP.EXE afterwards
  28.  
  29.   b) edit OS2.INI manually.

  31.   EDITING THE SYSTEM PROFILES SHOULD ONLY BE DONE BY SKILLED OS2 USERS! A DAMAGED
  32.   OS2.INI MAY PRODUCE FATAL SEQUENCES FOR THE WHOLE SYSTEM!

  34.   Therefore I do not want to explain how to edit OS2.INI at all. If you do not
  35.   know it yet, you should not do it at all!

  37.   For experienced: The application key is "dbGraph". Delete it!

  39. The dbGraph profile dbGraph.INI

  42. In this file all Settings of dbGraph are safed. If you want to reset dbGraph
  43. or if dbGraph.INI is damaged, you can recreate dbGraph.INI using GRAFINI.EXE.
  44. As parameter you may enter -LE for English or -LD for a German version.
  45. Enter the following the dbGraph-directory if you want to reset the settings
  46. of an English version:

  48. C:\DBGRAF> GRAPHINI -LE
  49.  
  50. Now the profile will be created. For the selected language, the corresponding
  51. files have to exist (*D.* for German, *E.* for English)!
