  2. Loudspeaker Enclosure Designer (LED) version 2 revisions:

  5. 07/28/93: Release of LED v2.10.
  6.           
  7.           -Updated LED to work properly with Trius' new As Easy As v5.50d
  8.            release.  LED v2.10 is now compatible with As Easy As v5.50c and
  9.            version 5.50d.

  11.           -Added on-line help file!  This file is a TSR which is loaded be-
  12.            fore As Easy As and LED (It can also be viewed independently as
  13.            an EXE file).  It depicts screens/menus and has more detailed 
  14.            explanations for LED's functions.  Requires an extra 51k of con-
  15.            ventional memory, but if you can set EMM386 or whichever EMS mana-
  16.            ger you use to provide 848k (or more) of EMS all should be OK.  
  17.            Using the help function is optional though, so those tight on 
  18.            memory needn't worry.  This file may be printed, too by running
  19.            LED210H.EXE from the command line and selecting the appropriate 
  20.            menu item.

  22.           -Instruction manual is now an EXE file and can be viewed just by
  23.            running LED210M.EXE.  When started, a menu appears which allows 
  24.            the reader to view or print the file.  Really easy!

  26.           -Reworked Fast Cabinet to include Alternate flat (usually smaller 
  27.            than Max flat cabinet) and Half-flat (one-half Max flat cabinet 
  28.            volume) alignments.  Also in Fast Cabinet:  
  29.             -Eliminated Tuned F-3dB alignment.
  30.             -Added graphing for Alternate flat and Half-flat alignments, 
  31.              bringing vented graph alignments to 4, instead of v2.00's 3.
  32.             -Added graph for sealed alignment Qtc 1.200, bringing total to 4
  33.              instead of v2.00's 3 sealed alignments.
  34.             -Relaxed Qts requirements for Alt 1 and Alt 3 alignments.  Now 
  35.              these areas will show alignments more often.

  37.           -MAKEBAT is now interactive... you need only start the file and
  38.            answer a few questions.  Much easier than before!  Also, MAKEBAT
  39.            now adds switches to the LED2.BAT file for loading LED with the 
  40.            help file TSR, instruction manual TSR and/or for loading LED-XOM 
  41.            or LED-EDM.

  43.           -LED-XOM includes a new feature called Filter Calculator.  With 
  44.            Filter Calculator you can input parts values for 1st-, 2nd-, 3rd- 
  45.            or 4th-order filters (high- or low-pass) and determine the F-3dB 
  46.            cutoff point.  2nd-order filter Q is calculated, too.

  48.           -Miscellaneous other (mostly) cosmetic changes to LED-XOM, LED-EDM 
  49.            and LED2DRVR files.

  52. 04/02/93: Update to the LED-EDM (Enclosure Design Module) file.  The original
  53.           could give erroneous results if trapezoidal dimensions were input-
  54.           ted in the internal volume calculation area.  FIXED.
