  2. appn:This is the StartWrite icon.|MClick SELECT to create a new document window.|MClick MENU to display a list of open documents, to edit the exception dictionary or to quit StartWrite
  3. main:This window shows the pages in the document
  4. icbr:The icon bar contains short-cut icons.
  5. zOut:Click SELECT to halve the page magnification
  6. prct:This is the current magnification.|MClick SELECT for the zoom dialogue
  7. zIn0:Click SELECT to double the page magnification
  8. zBox:Click SELECT, then drag an area on the page to be zoomed
  9. jlft:Click SELECT to left justify text
  10. jrgt:Click SELECT to right justify text
  11. jctr:Click SELECT to centre justify text
  12. jful:Click SELECT to fully justify text
  13. well:Drag tabs from the tab well to the ruler. Double click for dialogue.
  14. ltab:Text is left justified to the position of this tab
  15. ctab:Text is centred about the position of this tab
  16. rtab:Text is right justified to the position of this tab
  17. dtab:Decimal points are aligned to the position of this tab.|MThe decimal character can be changed by double clicking
  18. rule:The ruler scale. The scale units can be changed from the View menu or the icon bar.
  19. tabs:The ruler shows the current margins, indentation and tab positions.|MNew tabs can be dragged from the tab well.|MTabs can be moved by dragging, or deleted by dragging off the ruler.
  20. grey:This area is outside the limits of the current margins.
  21. St07:Click on the picture to select the frame, double click to crop the margins and scaling
  22. Pic0:Drag the frame edges or corners to crop the picture
  23. Pic1:Drag the frame edges or corners to crop the picture. Hold down SHIFT to constrain the drag, and use ADJUST to scale the picture
  24. Pic2:Drag the picture inside the frame
  25. Pic3:Drag the frame containing the picture up and down relative to the text baseline
  26. Pic4:Drag the frame containing the picture left and right.
  27. lin1:Click SELECT for single line spacing
  28. ln15:Click SELECT for 1½ line spacing
  29. lin2:Click SELECT for double line spacing
  30. plan:Click SELECT to return to plain text
  31. undl:Click SELECT for underlined text
  32. unin:Click SELECT for inch units on the ruler
  33. uncm:Click SELECT for centimetre units on the ruler
  34. unmm:Click SELECT for millimetre units on the ruler
