  20. [13:43] 3/20/98: Version 1.0a. Overall luminosity adjusted
  21. upwards to cater to standard monitors. Amber backlight adjusted
  22. for a more realistic glow. "Non-active" LCD areas darkened.

  24. monitors look like... hehehe... *SLAP!* SHUT YER TRAP, SHOWOFF!

  29. ----------------
  30. Like its predecessor, the interface *is* familiar... This time
  31. I based it on my car stereo... "Hit the road, Jack..." hehehe.

  34. You might realize by now I'm using the name Fusion to identify
  35. my work. Why "Fusion"? Well, besides the fact that I think
  36. jazz/fusion is absolutely kewl, these designs put a real-world
  37. (and very familiar, I might add...) face to an abstract concept:
  38. software. You might say its a "fusion" of sorts... :)

  40. Okay... enough bullshit. I just plucked the word out of thin
  41. air and decided I liked it. <EG>

  44. Display notes
  45. -------------
  46. Again, a note to people with wimpy video cards: Sorry 'bout
  47. this, but the AMPdeck *will* look crappy in anything less than
  48. 16-bit color. The interface is designed with very subtle
  49. shadings to convey realism and looks best on a true-color (24-
  50. or 32-bit) display.

  53. Installation notes
  54. ------------------
  55. Unzip the file into \WINAMP\SKINS. It *should* create a new
  56. sub-folder called \WINAMP\SKINS\FUSION AMPDECK. If it doesn't,
  57. make it manually and unzip there.

  59. Launch WinAmp, hit ALT+S to access your "skins" listing,
  60. select "FUSION AMPDECK", and voila! Your WinAmp has a new face!

  70. NB: "Skins" work ONLY with WinAmp 1.80 and NOT previous
  71. versions. If you're using an earlier version, visit
