  7. PLEASE BE INFORMED that the file beagle.exe was infected by a software
  8. virus!   If you picked up this file ( or the beagle.tar.Z archive )
  9. between March 27 1992 and April 6 1992 at 4:15pm Mountain time 
  10.  
  11.                  YOU HAVE PICKED UP A VIRUS!
  12.  
  13. The virus has been identified by Mcafee Associates scan89b program as 
  14. VIRUS ID 1591/1575 [15xx] and can easily be transmitted to other programs 
  15. by running beagle.exe on your PC.  Please obtain a copy of vscan89b.zip
  16. and clean89b.zip from the ftp site to find and exterminate this problem.
  17. If you have not run the beagle.exe program on a PC, then the virus can not
  18. have spread.  In that case you need only disinfect or replace the
  19. beagle.exe file.
  20.  
  21. A new clean version of beagle.exe has been placed in the ftp site.
  22. For good measure, please pick up a new copy of the beagle.exe file,
  23. its file size should be :  259753   bytes long.
