  1. Cartridge images

  4. The RPK format is used with the MESS emulator. Cartridges are used by providing
  5. the RPK file name as a startup parameter with the -cart option, or by selecting
  6. within the MESS image menu.

  8. From version 0.148, a second format is supported which has cartridge dump files 
  9. stored in ZIP archive files. The ZIP archive files just need to be stored in 
  10. a location that is indicated in the rompath property of the mess.ini file. 
  11. Cartridges are used by specifying their name (ZIP file name without ".zip")
  12. with the -cart option or within the MESS image menu.
