QFREE v1.0 - shows free space on all drives
=======================================================================
copr. 1989, Dave Williams
QFREE is intended for use by BBS or network operators with several drives.
When moving files on a large system, it is often hard to keep track of how
much space is available on each drive. QFREE tells you *fast*.
Type "QFREE [d]" to invoke QFREE, where [d] is the letter of the last
logical drive on your system. If you omit the drive letter, QFREE aborts
with a help message. QFREE's output may be redirected to a disk file by
typing "QFREE [d] > MYFILE".
A future version of QFREE may automatically detect the number of drives.
Unfortunately, each method I've tried gets confused about nonstandard devices
such as RAMdisks or Disk Manager partitions. Typing the last drive letter will
do for now. A letter higher than an actual drive will cause a long wait before
DOS times out.
QFREE works with network drives, Disk Manager non-DOS partitions, and
anything else that has a standard FAT structure and a logical drive letter.
This version takes 4k of RAM.
