  1. The MAIN MENU is operated by pressing each of the push -
  2. buttons. This can be done either by pressing the High -
  3. lighted letter key, or by clicking the LEFT Mouse Button.
  4. There is no "Double Click" needed in Collect!, and the
  5. keyboard can usually be used. To EXIT any window, such as
  6. this one,Click the spacebar Icon button in the upper left
  7. corner. You may also use the ESCAPE key to EXIT...

  9. Sub Menus otherwise can simultaneously use 3 different
  10. methods of user interface. You may use whichever is most
  11. comfortable:
  12. 1 >         Click the text with the mouse.
  13. 2 > Move the lightbar with the cursor keys, Press ENTER.
  14. 3 >         Press a Highlighted letter key.

  16. Help is available at most functions and menus by clicking
  17. HELP or by pressing the '?' key.  Forget all that old,
  18. tired 'F1' key business... Help is but a "click" away.

  20. At any time during operation, note the status of any push
  21. buttons on screen. The MAIN MENU is actually FIVE buttons
  22. at the top of the screen. If a button is pressed in, you
  23. may not press other buttons... It needs to be released.To
  24. release, press the spacebar Icon in the upper left of a
  25. window, or press ESCAPE.

  27. To EXIT from Collect!, choose FILE. Choose QUIT...

  29. Otherwise, the first order of business is to open a DATA
  30. FILE. There are some examples supplied. EXIT this HELP,
  31. Choose FILE | OPEN. Data files are displayed. Remember,
  32. MORE HELP can be accessed at that point as well.
