ADDENDUM FOR SCOUTMATE 2.1 ADDENDUM FOR SCOUTMATE 2.1
Included on these two sheets is information about the enhancements for
SCOUTMATE 2.1 from 2.01 and how to use them. These enhancements are
covered in full detail in your manual.

the detailed rank tracking. The enhanced detail rank tracking now
allows the tracking of the completion of requirements of ALL ranks,
not just the current one. To enter the information for a rank,
move the cursor to the desired rank and then enter the date (last
updated) and then hit Enter when on the completion status. The Enter
detailed rank tracking report will now appear for that rank and you
can enter whatever requirements were completed. If you are already
in the detailed rank tracking screen, you can cycle through the
requirements by hitting [CTRL-Page Up] and [CTRL-Page Down]. [CTRL-Page Up] [CTRL-Page Down]
When you are in the View Screen in the detailed rank tracking
screen, cycle through the requirements with [CTRL-Page Up] and [CTRL-Page Up]
[CTRL-Page Down]. It will always start with the scout's current [CTRL-Page Down]
badge. You cannot see the detailed rank tracking screens for ranks
which the scout has already earned.
In the Advancement Progress Report, you will be asked whether you
wish to print only the rank the scout is currently at or all of the
ranks for which the scout has completed at least one requirement.
2) Case No Longer Matters and Partial Names Accepted Case No Longer Matters and Partial Names Accepted
When selecting a record by entering the name, case no longer
matters. So if you are searching for a record for scout Browning, Browning,
John, you can enter br and his record will appear. Note that the John br
first record matching the partial name will be selected so you may
have to enter more characters in order for the correct record to be
selected.
Also when doing a Query for position held or patrol, case does not
matter.

week. If there is no one present when you call, leave a message on

6) If you have been previously using SCOUTMATE 2.01 or before, you If you have been previously using SCOUTMATE 2.01 or before
have to copy the new SCOUTMATE.EXE and SCOUTMATE.OVR files over the
old files. Also, you have to delete all of the detailed rank
information files (*.rnk). These steps are recommended if you are
upgrading to 2.1 from a previous version: You should do an
Advancement Progress Report with the old Scoutmate (version 2.01)
of all of the scouts, delete all of the *.rnk files in the
Scoutmate directory, copy the new SCOUTMATE.EXE and SCOUTMATE.OVR
files into your Scoutmate directory and then enter the rank
requirement information in for each scout.
