After listing your decision factors, decide if some
factors are more important than others. There are
several ways to do this on the Factors List screen:
1. Tab to the importance number (which the program has
automatically set to 100) and set any factor to a
lower number. It will be re-graphed to that value.
2. Numerical weights can be set with the - and + keys.
3. Click on the graph where you want a factor weighted,
or click on the red + or - to adjust the number.
4. If you want to set your factors' relative importance
by comparing them pair by pair, press F5 or select
^"PAIRS COMPARISON",hlp\53210.doc from the factor menu.
The factor list can be sorted at any time by pressing F9
or by clicking your mouse on the red SORT action pad.
This useful to help you visualize importance
relationships .
When setting your factor importance weights, keep your
mission and goals in mind.
