  5. The  Purchase Order System, version 1.6  is a user supported program
  6. from Ronald Bryan Byxbe, 4594 Providence Place, New Orleans, LA 70126
  7.  
  8. This Purchase Order System is a program that makes it easy for users 
  9. to enter and print purchase orders, and keep a record of all vendors.  
  10. A  list  of  vendors  can  be entered with their addresses  and phone 
  11. numbers, which can be  browsed,  edited, or deleted.  A vendor master 
  12. list can be printed. When entering in a purchase order, the screen is 
  13. divided into several columns for the account number, quantity,  unit, 
  14. item description, and price.  All the user has to do is to enter the 
  15. the correct information and the  program will keep a running total of 
  16. the purchase order.  
  17.     Purchase order numbers increment to 32,767, and recycle to number 
  18. one.     The  beginning  purchase  order  number  can  be  specified. 
  19. Outstanding  purchase  transactions  can  be  printed out by account, 
  20. vendor,  or  purchase  order.   Purchases  received  can  be  cleared 
  21. immediately, and if a purchase transaction is accidentally cleared it 
  22. can be retreived.  All  purchase  transactions  can  be  browsed over 
  23. without  changing  them  or deleting them in any way.  New data files 
  24. can  be  created and the data file indexes can be rebuilt at any time.  
  25. All the menus are self-explanatory and the options are listed in the 
  26. bottom  line  of  the  screen.  A color graphics card is required for 
  27. this program.
