The fact that the Union's [PARA]facilities are a long way from being the largest commercial [PARA]venture since EuroDisney, doesn't help student unity. Most of the[PARA]Union's funds are gulped up in an attempt to make up for the lack[PARA]of sporting facilities.[EITAL][HDNG]SU FACILITIES:[EHDNG][PARA]The Union has the basic facilities on 2 sites. At the Union's main [PARA]centre at Perry Barr, there's a cheap bar, shop, advice centre, [PARA]Endsleigh Insurance office, games machines, photobooth and [PARA]photocopier. There's also a NatWest bank in the same building [PARA]and a Dillons bookshop on campus. At Westbourne Rd there's a[PARA]'club bar' ([ITAL]ie. a small one[EITAL]), a union office and a general shop.[HDNG]CLUBS (NON SPORTING):[EHDNG][PARA]Access TV; Amnesty International; Anti-Nazi Legue; Asian; Best [PARA]of all Worlds (sci-fi); Bite It(dance organisers); Change Ringers; [PARA]Culture Club (theatre trips); European Commerce; Film Society; [PARA]Heatwave; Hellenic; Left Unity; Literary; Malaysian; Paintball; [PARA]Pakistani; Real Ale; Sikh; Singapore; Third World First; WARPS [PARA](Role Play).[HDNG]OTHER ORGANISATIONS:[EHDNG][PARA]'DeUCE' is the [ITAL]impressive [EITAL]student magazine, published by the [PARA]Union, and there's also a radio station. [ITAL]The Conservatoire is one [PARA]of the country's top music institutions and this rubs off on the [PARA]students, many of whom are hooked on classics.[EITAL][PARA][PARA][ITAL][HDNG]RELIGIOUS:[EHDNG][EITAL][PARA]Muslim prayer room.
