It employs 6 counsellors. There are medical centres at both campuses, staffed by nurses, offering GPs and family planning.[PARA][BOLD]Women and ethnic minorities: [EBOLD]UEL has a crusading equal opportunities policy, reflected in the high proportion of students from ethnic minorities and the (almost) equal gender balance. [ITAL]This is particualrly important as the local area is seething with racial and social tensions.
