[EITAL] In fact, Anglia Poly University's 2 [PARA]main campuses were separate colleges; Cambridge College of [PARA]Art and Technology (CCAT) and the Essex Institute of Higher [PARA]Education in Chelmsford; until they merged in 1989, became a [PARA]poly in 1991 and a university in May 1992 - all in the time it takes to [PARA]get a degree. [ITAL]'Merged' that is in the loosest sense, because [PARA]they're still geographically and socially quite distinct.
