  8. I can handle administrative requests automatically. Please
  9. do not send them to the list address! Instead, send
  10. your message to the correct command address:

  12. To subscribe to the list, send a message to:
  13.    <blitz-list-subscribe@netsoc.ucd.ie>
  14.  
  15. To remove your address from the list, send a message to:
  16.    <blitz-list-unsubscribe@netsoc.ucd.ie>

  18. Send mail to the following for info and FAQ for this list:
  19.    <blitz-list-info@netsoc.ucd.ie>
  20.    <blitz-list-faq@netsoc.ucd.ie>

  22. To get messages 123 through 145 (a maximum of 100 per request), mail:
  23.    <blitz-list-get.123_145@netsoc.ucd.ie>

  25. To get an index with subject and author for messages 123-456 , mail:
  26.    <blitz-list-index.123_456@netsoc.ucd.ie>

  28. They are always returned as sets of 100, max 2000 per request,
  29. so you'll actually get 100-499.

  31. To receive all messages with the same subject as message 12345,
  32. send an empty message to:
  33.    <blitz-list-thread.12345@netsoc.ucd.ie>

  35. The messages do not really need to be empty, but I will ignore
  36. their content. Only the ADDRESS you send to is important.

  38. You can start a subscription for an alternate address,
  39. for example "john@host.domain", just add a hyphen and your
  40. address (with '=' instead of '@') after the command word:
  41. <blitz-list-subscribe-john=host.domain@netsoc.ucd.ie>

  43. To stop subscription for this address, mail:
  44. <blitz-list-unsubscribe-john=host.domain@netsoc.ucd.ie>

  46. In both cases, I'll send a confirmation message to that address. When
  47. you receive it, simply reply to it to complete your subscription.
