  2. SIO.SYS and VSIO.SYS are replacements of the
  3. OS2 communications drivers COM.SYS and
  4. VCOM.SYS which come with OS/2.  VX00.SYS
  5. provides FOSSIL support for DOS comm
  6. programs, and creates a virtulal 16550 for
  7. programs that do not support FOSSIL.  SIO
  8. can be ordered to support up to 16 ports.
