  20. 1 - This version of AWebEd may be freely distributed, except for
  21. commercial purposes for which the permission of the author will have
  22. to be obtained.
  23.  
  24. 2 - The AWebEd archive must be distributed intact, although the
  25. following alterations may be made:
  26.         i) Additional documentation may be included within the
  27.            "Helpdocs" directory.
  28.         ii) The file "Functions" within the "Helpdocs" directory
  29.             may be altered to allow the insertion of user-generated
  30.             links to any additional user-generated documentation
  31.         iii) The five sub-directories within the "commands"
  32.              directory may be renamed, and additional AMAL scripts
  33.              added.
  34.         iv) AMAL scripts within the command sub-directories may be
  35.             moved to the "storage" directory. 
  36. All alterations must be logged within the file named "Distribution
  37. Alterations".  The distributor must ensure that all alterations are
  38. attributed.

  40. 3 - AWebEd v1.0 is shareware.  If the user decides to use AWebEd, it
  41. is requested that the user registers with the author.  Registration
  42. will bring the user a number of benefits which are outlined at the
  43. end of this document. Registration fees will ensure the continuing
  44. development of AWebEd!
  45.  
  46. 4 - The author cannot take any responsibility for damage to the
  47. user's software/hardware as a result of using AWebEd.
  48.  
  49.                             Installation 
  50.                             ------------
  51.  
  52.     AWebEd requires no installation procedure as such, and will
  53. autoconfigure on execution.  AWebEd should be happy anywhere on your
  54. system.  It is advised that AWebEd is run from harddrive.  However,
  55. it should run straight from floppy (although this is untested).
  56. The AWebEd application must be kept within it's directory.
  57.  
  58.     Ensure that you run the right executable for your system.  PAL systems
  59. should use AWebEdPAL; NTSC systems should use AWebEdNTSC.  You can delete
  60. the executable which isn't required (eg, if you use AWebEdNTSC, delete
  61. AWebEdPAL).

  109.     This is version 1.2 - it's the same as v1.0 except two silly
  110. bugs which was causing people problems has been removed.

  112.                             Using AWebEd 
  113.                             ------------

  115.     Double-click on the AWebEd icon to start AWebEd.  Full
  116. documentation is provided within AWebEd.
  117.  
  118.                             BUGS!!! 
  119.                             -------
  120.  
  121. This is the second wide-scale release of AWebEd.  Hence, despite the
  122. exhaustive testing carried out so far, there are bound to be some
  123. bugs that have slipped through.  I suspect that most bugs will be in
  124. AMAL - esp. AMAL error trapping routines.  Hence, keep a look out
  125. for AMAL scripts that are not behaving themselves.  None of the bugs
  126. should be crash-worthy, just a bit irritating.  Drop me a line if
  127. you think you've found one.  Registration will stop those bugs!
