LANL GrafixOverview:LANL Grafix has been included as a convenient way to view the graphics files located on this CD. This is a Macintosh program which requires 32Bit Color QD and a color mac (although not a color monitor) to operate. LANL Grafix can convert between a variety of common file formats including TIFF, Sun Raster, PICT, and Targa-32. It can also write CGM metafiles. For the purposes of this disk, we have added a movie previewer to LANL Grafix. This previewer will display as many frames as can be loaded into memory. When the memory runs out the remaining frames are ignored. To see more of the movie, either increase the programs memory allocation or decrease the screen depth. Movies are scaled to display in a 256 pixel window. Since all the movies are being distributed as a collection of 24-Bit TIFF Files, individual frames can displayed without using the movie viewer.
