  4.    This document contains information about plugin modules for S&R development.
  5. All the plugins supplied with S&R are designed only for the version of S&R with
  6. which they are supplied. It  is  not  guaranteed  that  standard  plugins  will
  7. function correctly with different S&R versions.

  26.  * OLD PLUGINS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIS VERSION OF S&R.
  27.  * Config, TempPanel: placed in subfolders of the "System" folder.
  28.  * NewName, Dir2File, VerInfo: these plugins work  only  under  FAR
  29.    1.70 build 1282 and above.
  30.  ! VerInfo: cosmetic errors in "Your FAR is too old" message.
  31.  ! Dir2File: dialog did not fit if height of console was 25 lines.
  32.  + NewName: you can open configuration dialog from the main  dialog
  33.    in panels.
  34.  + TempPanel: hotkey Alt-Shift-F2 allows to save  contents  of  the
  35.    panel to a list file.
  36.  + TempPanel:  it  is  possible  to  open  temporary  panels   with
  37.    different numbers in the left and right FAR panels
  38.    simultaneously.
  39.  + TempPanel: option "Put found files list in empty panel"  in  the
  40.    "Configuration/Temporary panel". Turned on by default.
  41.  * TempPanel: the message "Updating temporary  panel  contents"  is
  42.    shown only if panel contains more than 512 items.

  61.  + NewName, Dir2File: use the following option ("Other  options"):
  62.    "Process selected items if panel contains selected items"
  63.  * NewName, Dir2File:  cosmetic in messages which show filenames.
  64.  + NewName, Dir2File, VerInfo: relative  links  in  help-files.  It
  65.    works only under FAR 1.70 build 1476 and  above,  and  SRPlugins
  66.    must be placed in the same folder as s_and_r.dll.
  67.  * NewName: do not perform renaming if new name  is  equal  to  old
  68.    name.
  69.  + NewName, Dir2File: you  can  choose  one  of  first  10  schemes
  70.    without opening the menu using the following keys combinations:
  71.    Ctrl-Alt-0, Ctrl-Alt-1, ..., Ctrl-Alt-9.
  72.  + VerInfo:  shows  version  of  the  file  and  the  product  from
  73.    VS_FIXEDFILEINFO.
  74.  + VerInfo: its  dialog  automatically  increases  to  fit  in  the
  75.    console (made by Jouri Mamaev <JouriM@uran.ru>).
  76.  * VerInfo: you cannot modify  information  lines  (made  by  Jouri
  77.    Mamaev <JouriM@uran.ru>).
  78.  * VerInfo:   dialog  has  one  color   (made   by   Jouri   Mamaev

  80.  + Dir2File, NewName: detailed search regexp's errors message.
  81.  + NewName: option "Confirmation for renaming".
  82.  + NewName: you can specify log-name and format of log-records.
  83.  * NewName: log is created only after main  job  is  done,  because
  84.    records must be placed in log in reverse order.

  110.  * Config.srp and TempPanel.srp now are system plugin modules.  See
  111.    readme for details. They have been  renamed  to  config.srs  and
  112.    temppanel.srs respectively.
  113.  + Really true support of  user's  plugin  modules.  User's  plugin
  114.    modules realize additional functions of S&R. They must have  SRP
  115.    extension. Program searches for them in folder SRPLugins and all
  116.    its subfolders (SRPlugins directory should  be  located  in  the
  117.    same folder as s_and_r.dll). It  is  possible  to  write  plugin
  118.    modules for panels, editor and viewer. Documentation for writing
  119.    external plugin modules for S&R (unfortunately, only in Russian)
  120.    and example of such plugin module in C++ (example is the sources
  121.    of any (your choice) from standard plugin modules) will be  sent
  122.    on the first request from the registered user.

  132.  + New plugin: "File list  creator". This plug-in's  appearance  in
  133.    distribution means that my another plug-in Dir2Html will develop
  134.    no more,  'cose  it's  features  are  covered  by  dir2file.srp.
  135.    Dir2File schemes example is placed in dir2file_scheme.reg.  This
  136.    is a multifunction plugin module which is capable of  generating
  137.    everything, everything, according to your rules. E.g., you can:
  138.      a) create a html-page with pictures from the current directory
  139.      b) create bat-files with complex commands to process necessary
  140.         files
  141.      c) copy your internet shortcuts (*.url) in a html-page
  142.      e) et cetera, et cetera... All depends on your imagination :-)
