TiC's WAD Review
---------------------------------------------------------------------
In irregular intervals I will review a few PWADs.
All reviews are totally subjective, I'll not beautify anything!
If you have any suggestions, ideas or whatever; e-mail me at:
denis@doomsday.shnet.org or denis.moeller@kiel.netsurf.de
All files can be found on ftp.cdrom.com and its mirror sites.
DON'T ASK ME TO SEND YOU ANY FILES NOR WHERE TO GET THEM.
If you want me to review a special PWAD - email me.
I will NOT review any deathmatch-levels!
You can also read my reviews at this WebPage:

Title: Betray Level Game: Doom 2
Filename: BETRAY.ZIP Size: 27k
Author: Unknown e-mail: /
Maps: MAP01 Type: normal level
Sounds: no
Graphics: no
Music: no
[ Level construction ] ----------------------------------------------
The level is build up of blocks, only a few slanting walls. A lot
of teleporters, mostly without the original teleporter texture, but
with a normal red or blue floor. A lot of switches too, opening
doors, walls or teleporters. Not very well thought through, you just
get a key and will find a door to use it with. A labyrinth-like
level, although there are no labyrinths.
[ Texture design ] --------------------------------------------------
Only a few misaligned textures, the blue door doesn't have any
sign to show the needed key. Most teleporters doesn't have the right
floor. Beginner faults.
[ Bugs ] ------------------------------------------------------------
No HOMs, Medusa effects or Tutti-Frutties.
[ Enemies ] ---------------------------------------------------------
Not very hard, although I played it in Ultra Violence. A good
level for the Plasma Gun, a lot of ammo for it, so some Mancubus',
Revenants and an Arch-Vile are easy to kill.
[ Things ] ----------------------------------------------------------
Things are restricted to monsters, ammo and health. I don't
remember any other things. A lot of ammo and health though.
[ Scoring ] ---------------------------------------------------------
57%
Worth downloading, a very fast completed level, although it isn't
a small one. Run, shoot, push 300 switches, run again etc...
