This is a beta release of HTML Wizard for OS/2. Many people have been
asking for an HTML editor for OS/2, so here it is. Not all types of HTML
tags have been implemented, but the major ones are there. To use the program,
unzip the program in its own directory and run the install program by
typing "install". This will create an HTML Wizard object on your desktop.
Double-click it to start the program. You can start typing a new HTML
document or use the File|Open menu item to edit an existing one.
HTML tags can be inserted by (1) clicking the appropriate button, (2)
using the Tags menu at the top, or (3) right-clicking in the edit window.
If you have existing text that you want inside a tag, select the text with
the mouse, and then insert the tag. The program will put the selected text
inside the tag if such an action is appropriate for the tag (like headers).
Except for the tags, HTML Wizard behaves just like any other text editor.
As this is a beta release, there are probably some bugs to be squashed.
Please report any problems/comments/suggestions to terrell@algol.iras.ucalgary.ca
or ALGOL if you are on GEnie. You are authorized to use this program until
the release of the GA version which will be released as shareware. In the
meantime, please feel free to pass along the program to others.
This program requires the VX-REXX runtime library, VROBJ.DLL, version 2.01a
or higher.
Thank You
