The default configuration presents UNIX utilities in organized groups, and provides an interactive command interface. The menu system can be modified by editing simple text files, with menus nested to any level without increased start-up time or memory requirements. UniMenu can be used with default system-wide menus or user-defined menus.
UniMenu also provides quick access to the shell for experienced users. When
integrated with other utilities, such as a directory editor, UniMenu becomes
an even more powerful tool for applications management, and a flexible
extension to system management utilities.
