The new manual is ready!

(We give up... we give up...)

The new manual is finished!

Well... at least it's finished enough for people to start using. It went through its own beta cycle, just as a piece of software should, and the feedback we got from the community was both excellent, and very much appreciated.

All that's left now is to incorporate all of the feedback we received back into the manual. As we do this, we're continuing to offer the draft form (muppets and all) in postscript form.

(For anybody who wasn't with us for the first pass, we hid the names of 18 different muppet characters in the draft form of the manual as part of a proofreaders contest we were running.)

There's only one file you need to download... Razor_manual.tar.Z - which is a compressed tar file containing 18 postscript files and a nice README file describing everything in more detail

And, for those who like to do it the old fashioned way, the following notes should direct you to pull it down by ftp yourself.

  # ftp ftp.tower.com  <== 198.77.86.50
  # login:  ftp
  # password:
  # dir <== Just to see where you are
  # bin <== Make sure you're in binary mode
  # get Razor_manual.tar.Z
  # bye

That's about all there is to it! If there's anything that's not at all clear, or if there's anything that we can, or should do to help out, please don't hesitate to contact us.

PLEASE NOTE: The image on this page in no way implies that these guys, or any of the other Muppets, approve of or even know about our product. There's no association whatsoever between Tower Concepts and the fine people at Sesame Street, Jim Henson Productions, The Childrens Television Workshop, etc, etc. To be honest, we didn't go through all the legal procedures to ask permission, and if we've offended anyone along the way, we sincerely apologize. Just please, don't sue us. I'm sure you can afford a lot better lawyers than we can. If anything, we meant this as a tribute of sorts. Besides, it came down to being Muppets, or famous dead musicians of the 1900's, and this seemed less likely to get people upset.
