Title: Agfa Arcus II scanning dark images

Date: June 26, 1995

Problem:

Using the Agfa Arcus II consistently scans in images too dark, or does not scan images correctly.

Cause:

The Arcus II default setting is for the transparency option.

Solution:

  1. Go to Option in the scan bed window and deselect the transparency option.
  2. Do a pre-scan and the results should be greatly improved if scanning in reflective media.
  3. If you are to scan transparencies, go back to the Options menu and select transparency mode.
