Utility lifts are used to get to hard to reach places. They must remain stable while moving through a wide range of motion.

As the lifting unit rotates, an overturning moment is generated that may cause the base to become unstable. ADAMS allows you to focus on the forces on each tire to evaluate when instability may occur.

The instability issues are tire lift-off and platform vibration due to tire flexibility. The plot shows that all tire forces are greater than zero, so tire lift-off is not a problem. The tire flexibility is evident in the oscillations of the tire forces.
