BRAWLERTM) is a many-on-many air combat simulator. It provides a detailed representation of engagements involving multiple flights of aircraft in both the WVR and BVR arenas. This demonstrates the importance of cooperative tactics, surprise, confusion and maintaining accurate situation awareness. Special emphasis is placed on simulating pilot decisions and thought processes. A high level of detail is achieved in modeling hardware systems including aircraft, weapons, ECM and other avionics devices. BRAWLER is used by a variety of government and commercial organizations to do airframe, avionics and weapon design tradeoffs and to develop tactics.
