Load Balancer improves job throughput and network performance by putting idle UNIX computer resources to work. It makes each application run faster by always executing it on the best available computer on the network. Load Balancer determines availability based on the capacity and current workload of each computer, the resources required by the submitted application or job, and user and other constraints. Load Balancer can be installed and running within an hour and works with both batch and interactive applications. Customers have used Load Balancer to distribute workloads over hundreds of systems with minimal increase in network traffic.
