Alexandria Backup Librarian Software manages all facets of backup on heterogeneous UNIX networks: full and incremental backups, backup aging and migration, media aging and migration, device usage and maintenance. Alexandria's True Client/Server architecture provides robust, scalable solutions which seamlessly integrate backup of UNIX file system data and commercial databases. Alexandria is available for a wide range of UNIX hardware platforms and supports tape libraries from Spectra Logic, Exabyte, ADIC and Odetics as well as HP Optical Jukeboxes. Through "database backup personalities," Alexandria provides hot and cold backups of Oracle, Informix and Sybase databases. Database backups are completely integrated with filesystem backups.
