SoftWindows is a powerful software program that allows you to run standard mode Windows and MS-DOS applications on your Silicon Graphics workstation. SoftWindows provides up to 486SX PC performance running Windows applications. It includes Microsoft Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS 6.21 pre-installed. SoftWindows includes networking support for Novell NetWare, Microsoft LAN Manager, Banyan VINES, the ODI standard and TCP/IP. You can run your corporate PC mail system with enclosed PC documents from your workstation. SoftWindows runs on a Silicon Graphics workstation with IRIX 4.05 or IRIX 5.X. A full version of SoftWindows is on HotMix for evaluation and purchase.
