Time Navigator is a powerful tool for backing-up and archiving data on heterogeneous networks (UNIX, VMS, Novell). The new concept of navigation in the history of files allows anybody to retrieve lost data with a short learning curve. This applies to both file trees and on-line backup of databases. Data is stored at high speed on tapes or optical disks. All operations of storage management are transparent to users. The X/Motif interface provides large capabilities of navigation in the history of files, and makes administration and use easy.
