The HJS & E Bus Expander is a kit which extends the internal Indigo 2 bus to the back of the computer. This allows the system to stripe data across the pair of busses.
The kit consists of a PC board which replaces the one at the back of the CD-ROM bay and provides a connector to extend the bus. Also provided is a 50 pin SCSI cable which ends at the back of the computer with a 50 pin micro SCSI II connector.
A sheet metal part is provided to mount the 50 pin micro connector in one of the card cage slots which is either unoccupied or has no external connector.
