The Vault CS is a pizza box style storage expansion enclosure which supports 8 devices and up to three busses.
Model 3B: has a narrow bus with two device connnectors and two wide differential busses with three device connectors on each bus.
Model NA: has two narrow busses with a raid 0 array controller on each bus. Each controller supports two fast narrow devices.
Model FWA: has two wide busses with a fast/wide differential raid 0 array controller on each bus. Each controller supports two fast narrow disk drives.
Test Results: Indigo2 w/ 2 busses and Model NA up to 15 mb/sec challenge s w/ Model FWA up to 27.2 mb/sec. (Assumes 4 seagate 4 GB Barracuda disks.)
