scNQS: Network batch and queueing system scNQS is a newtwork wide batch system for all Unix platforms based on the de facto standard NQS which makes it compatible to the batch systems of various mainframes and supercomputers. scNQS provides automatic load balancing in any workstation/server cluster optimizing the utilization of available compute resources by a flexible configuration of the scheduling algorithm. scNQS provides a OSF/Motif based GUI for the user commands submit, status and cancel as well as a network-wide notification mechanism.
