The Spaceball 2003 is a 3-D input device designed specifically for interacting with 3-D applications. It provides simultaneous six-degree of freedom movement, giving complete, intuitive control of models and images in 3-D space.
Drivers for IRIS® Partner applications are available in areas such as AEC, animation, CAD/CAM/CAE, CFD, GIS, molecular modeling, scientific visualization, VR, and visual simulation.
Spaceware® development tools for the 3-D application developer include a programmer's interface, libraries, and advanced interactive 3-D demonstrations and source code providing fully functional mathematical routines. A developer's toolkit is also available for developers interested in adding Spaceball 2003 support to their applications.
