The BWI VME-FDDI node adaptor is a VME64 Dual Attach controller utilizing a RISC processor and providing on-board Station Management (SMT) support to allow for use on high speed FDDI networks. It is available with TCP/IP driver software, and provides sustained transfer rates of up to 80 MBits/sec.
