The FlyBox® consists of a rugged three axis pistol-grip joystick, two levers, eight buttons and a trigger, which provide inputs to your SGI. Source code is provided, making it easy to integrate with an application, where the FlyBox provides intuitive control of objects or vehicle dynamics. This makes it ideal for low cost or portable vehicle simulation systems.
The FlyBox has a 12-bit resolution, and sens data RS-232 format to the host at a selectable baud rate. The data is not subject to noise on the serial line.
The FlyBox does not require a VME board or device driver.
