The PER-Force 1 Degree of Freedom (1 DOF) steering wheel belongs to Cybernet's line of Force Feedback device (see PER-Force 6 DOF Handcontroller, 3 DOF Joystick, and 2 DOF Yoke in this listing). An operator can use this active device to precisely control real or virtual vehicles while receiving force feedback that varies according to speed, surface, and the particular design of the vehicle being "driven". This is done by a host computer control system that reads the transformed position, velocity or force. "Force Feedback" can be generated by the steering wheel through 1 brushless, DC servo Motor.
