SCSI-FLEX EO allows for easy integration of Silicon Graphics workstations with today's latest high performance SCSI 5-1/4" rewritable optical drives. The software includes a custom written driver, an auto-install utility, the 'optotool' graphical window-based interface, complete documentation and software protection. Each package is designed to take full advantage of the capabilities of rewritable optical storage in any business application. Rorke Data currently ships SCSI-FLEX EO for Silicon Graphics workstations running IRIX 4.0.5, 5.2 and 5.3. IRIX 6.1 support is scheduled for Q3, 1995.
