FlashNet is a suite of layered products designed to facilitate the complete back-up and restore and archive of a heterogeneous network environment, using standard communication protocols and the widest range of storage devices available today. FlashNet cluster server enables the network administrator to centrally manage the back-ups, restores and archive operations for any FlashNet server on the network. Total "lights out" operation for remote servers and storage devices, with central administration. FlashNet supports a wide range of UNIX servers, and 10000-UNIX machines as clients including, Novell, NT, VMS OS/2. All popular storage devices and jukeboxes are also supported.
