SNS- Stereotactic Neurosurgery System. This system simulates the surgical approach to a region in the brain. A 3-D reconstruction of the patient anatomy, coming from a set of CT/MRI scans, is displayed together with the surgical tools in order to choose the best trajectory to the target point. Interaction with 3-D surgical pointer, stereostactic microscope and stereostactic ultrasound probe is currently under way.
